Hi I'm Jennifer…

I am a safety operations engineer who has transitioned from deep sea to deep space operations over my career. I currently identify hazards and help successfully implement effective operational controls so astronauts can conduct successful spacewalks outside of the International Space Station (ISS).

I have also used my skills as a Well Site Supervisor offshore to support and lead Well Completions, Well Interventions, and Plug & Abandonment (P&A) operations for the Oil & Gas industry.

My passion and focus is on the interface of operations, hardware, people, and overall safety. It is key to make sure each team member clearly understands the impacts and desired results of an operation. Working in different industries and cultures has influenced my personal safety culture which I will strive to share with you and your team through leadership and knowledge sharing.

I enjoy speaking to and inspiring younger generations to pursue Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) careers. I share my personal struggles & successes working offshore with Shell and supporting US & Russian spacewalks at NASA.

Appear as you are. Be as you appear.
